The five dead are: Dearl Laxton, 19, Mount Herman. John E. Milson, 37, Halsey, Ore. Mrs. John E. Milson, 29. Glenda Gale Milson, 10, and Pamela June Milson, 4, children of Mr. and Mrs. Milson. The five were enroute to McCurtain county when their car was struck from the side at the intersection of US 20 and a side road. Two youths in the other car were critically injured. Milson was born at Sherwood, March 2, 1920. He and his family moved to Oregon seven years ago from Mount Herman. He was a railroad employee and a veteran of World War II. He is survived by four brothers, Howard Milson, Colorado; Tom Milson, Prairie Grove, Ark.; Fred Milson, Dinuba, Calif., and Charlie E. Milson, Edmond; four sisters, Mrs. Charlie Sink, Wright City; Mrs. Velma Williamson; Mrs. Mamie Beason, Broken Bow; and Mrs. Leona Cheatwood, Powderly, Tex.; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Milson, Broken Bow. Mrs. Milson was born in Garvin October 13, 1927. Dearl Laxton was born February 2, 1938, at Mount Herman. He had been in the army the past three years and had gotten his discharge only a short time before starting the trip home. Laxton and Mrs. Milson are survived by their parents, Mr. and Mrs. James F. Laxton, Mount Herman; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Murrell, Glover, and Mrs. Matt Laxton, Hemmit, Calif.; two brothers, Kenneth Maxton, Shed, Ore., and Donald Ray Laxton, Mount Herman; three sisters, Mrs. Kelly Baker, Wright City; Mrs. Lawrence Rose, Halsey, Ore., and Mrs. Virginia Cox, Mount Herman. Glenda Gale Milson was born at Mount Herman August 27, 1946, and Pamela June Milson was born at Halsey, May 10, 1953. They are survived by their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Laxton, Mount Herman, and Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Milson, Broken Bow. Rev. William Mitchell and Rev. W. R. Merry will officiate at the funeral service Saturday. Burial will be made in Broken Bow cemetery under direction of Coffey funeral home. Herman, Oklahoma; John E. Milson, 37, Halsey, Oregon; Mrs. John E. Milson, 29, Halsey; Glenda Gale, 10 and Pamela June Milson, 4, children of Mr. and Mrs. Milson. The Milsons and Laxton were returning to Oklahoma when they had the collision at an intersection on U. S. Highway 20 outside of Bend. Two youths in the other automobile were critically injured. The multiple funeral will be held in Johnson Hall in Broken Bow at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Bill Mitchell and Rev. W. R. Merry officiating. Burial will be in Broken Bow cemetery under the direction of Coffey funeral home.
