Funeral services were to be held at 2 p. m. this Thursday afternoon, at the Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. G. P Krebs officiating and interment in Mr. Hope cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews of the deceased, Herbert Langemeier of Scribner, Edwin Langemeier of Hooper, Glen Langemeier of Bloolmfield, Roy and Raymond Langemeier of Wayne and Carl Schiermeier of Wisner. Clara Anna Langemeier, the eldest of nine children, was born May 30, 1869, at Rising Sun, Ind. to Herman and Caroline Langemeier. At the age of 12 she moved with her family from Indiana to the Hooper vicinity where she received her education in a Lutheran parochial school. April 20, 1888, she was united in marriage to William G. Schiermeier at St. John's Lutheran church near Hooper with Rev. Bergt officiating. To the Schiermeiers was born one daughter, Emma, Mrs. Henry Will of West Point. Following the couple's marriage they made their home on a farm near Hooper for one year then; then moved to a farm south of Beemer where they lived for four years. Mr-Mrs. Schiermeier then moved to a farm five miles north of Beemer where they resided until February, 1915, when they retired and moved to West Point. The Schiermeiers celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1938. Mr. Schiermeier passed away Jan., 1941. The deceased was a member of the Grace Lutheran church and its ladies aid society. Surviving Mrs. Schiermeier are her daughter, Mrs. Henry Will; one granddaughter, Miss Lorain Will of West Point; one brother, Harry Langemeier of Hartington and several nieces and nephews.hhw
