Description	:	Clara Alberta Keil was born to Frank J. and Myrtle Holoch Cudaback on May 9, 1911, near McCool Junction, and passed away March 14, 1987, at Columbus Community Hospital in Columbus, at the age of 75 years, 10 months and 5 days. She was one of two children in the family. Clara grew up on a farm northeast of McCool, and at the age of 13 she and her family moved to a farm northwest of Exeter. Read More	Clara Alberta Keil was born to Frank J. and Myrtle Holoch Cudaback on May 9, 1911, near McCool Junction, and passed away March 14, 1987, at Columbus Community Hospital in Columbus, at the age of 75 years, 10 months and 5 days. She was one of two children in the family. Clara grew up on a farm northeast of McCool, and at the age of 13 she and her family moved to a farm northwest of Exeter. She was baptized at the Christian Church in Exeter. She attended several different rural schools through the eighth grade. As a young woman, she was employed in helping out at different households in the area. Clara was married to Ralph H. Keil of Fairmont on October 12, 1932, and to them one daughter was born. She joined the Fairmont Federated Church in 1932. Clara enjoyed serving the church and always helped out in any way she was able. Clara and Ralph resided on a farm northeast of Fairmont for 41 years until 1973, at which time they retired from farming and moved to their new home in Fairmont. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1982. Clara enjoyed the goodness of farm life while on the farm, and labored right beside her husband through the good years and bad. Upon retirement, she enjoyed doing different crafts. She enjoyed her new home in Fairmont and her neighbors and friends who called on her. Most important to her was her family and all the occasions that brought them together. She will be greatly missed by family, friends and neighbors. Clara was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Myrtle Cudaback of Exeter. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Keil of Fairmont; daughter Charlene Bristol and her husband, Dave, of Fairmont; granddaughters, Debra Torczon and husband, Ken of Columbus and Julie Snodgrass and husband, Jim of Fairmont; grandsons, Don Bristol and wife, Linda and Keith Bristol all of Fairmont; great-grandsons, Shane Bristol of Fairmont and Kenny and and Kyle Torczon of Columbus; a twin brother, Clarence Cudaback of Exeter; two uncles and three nephews, as well as a host of friends and relatives. Funeral services were conducted from the Fairmont Community Church in Fairmont on Tuesday, March 17, with the Rev. Norman Kauble officiating. Nancy Jo Galusha accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Roland Hall, who sang "Nearer My God to Thee" and "How Great Thou Art." Serving as pallbearers were Rex Brown, Claude Lefler, Richard Daws, Del Galusha, Robert Galush, and Don Hassleman. Interment was in the Fairmont Cemetery.
