Description	:	The funeral for Mrs. Theodore (Clara) Strand, 83, of Portland was held Monday, July 3, 1978 in Aurdal Lutheran Church. Rev. Omar Nelson officiated. Mrs. Clarence Studlien was organist and a womans trio sang. Pallbearers were Thomas Braaten, Jerry Strand, Ronald Carlson, Merle Strand, David Strand, Brian Strand, Russell Strand and Gary Thuen. Interment is in the Aurdal cemetery. Mrs. Strand died Friday, June 30, 1978, at her home. Clara Bothun was born April 12, 1895, at Portland. She married Mr. Strand June 21, 1913, at Portland. She is survived by five sons, Clarence Strand of Amenia, James Strand and Maynard Strand of Portland, Orville Strand of Bismarck and Ernest Strand of Hatton; three daughters, Mrs. Garvin (Agnes) Braaten, Mrs. Selmer (Gladys) Thuen and Mrs. Raymond (Mavis) Carlson, all of Portland; one sister, Mrs. Alfred (Marie) Higdom of Malta, Mont.; one brother, Christ Bothun of Cando; 36 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
