Description	:	The funeral for Clara M. Tostenson, 79, of Leeds was held Tues. at 10 a.m. at the Leeds Lutheran Church. Interment was in the Leeds Lutheran Cemetery. She died April 16, 1998 at her rural Leeds home. Rev. Richard Budd officiated. Ken & Dorothy Stuberg provided special music. Pallbearers were Steven, Donnie, Danny & Josh Tostenson, Willie Mears Jr., Jorgen Martin & Mike O'Brien. Honorary pallbearers were all her relatives & friends. She was raised in the York area & attended country school near York. She worked at Rugby, Churchs Ferry, Devils Lake, Lakota & Fargo before working at the Palace Cafe & the Home Cafe in Leeds. She married Nels Tostenson Sr. July 6, 1941 at Leeds. They farmed near Leeds. He died in Dec. of 1979. She was a member of the Leeds Lutheran Church & the Leeds American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include 3 sons & 2 daughters-in-law, Clifford & Marcia Tostenson of Cando, Nels & Laurie Tostenson of Devils Lake & Tim Tostenson of Leeds; 3 daughters & 2 sons-in-law, Betty & Patrick Martin of Jamestown, Barbara & William J. Mears & Bonnie Tuttle of Leeds; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a brother, Howard Pownell of Rugby; & 2 sisters, Pearl Medhus of Leeds & Doris Krueziger of Roberts, Wisc. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; a son, Terry; 2 brothers; & 6 sisters.
