Description	:	Clarence Elton Myers was born in America City, Kans., February 12, 1879. He was one of a family of four boys, Receiving his education in Nemaha county, he remained at home on the farm with his parents until his marriage, March 26, 1902 to Lydia Melton. By this marriage there were two children, Grace Lenora and Lydia Mae. Their mother died when Lydia Mae was born, April 31, 1907. Read More	Clarence Elton Myers was born in America City, Kans., February 12, 1879. He was one of a family of four boys, Receiving his education in Nemaha county, he remained at home on the farm with his parents until his marriage, March 26, 1902 to Lydia Melton. By this marriage there were two children, Grace Lenora and Lydia Mae. Their mother died when Lydia Mae was born, April 31, 1907. On June 8, 1931, Mr. Myers was married at Holton to Helen Elizabeth Athey who survives him. For 15 years he has held a position with the Kansas City Pump Co., before which time he had served for some years in the International Harvester co. In June 1934, Mr. Myers' health was affected through a throat infection and in December of that year he went to Mayo Brothers, Rochester, Minn., for an operation which finally resulted in his death, after months of illness and several return trips to Rochester. He passed away at 5:30 Sunday morning, October 13. Funeral services were held at the Mercer funeral home Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock, Archdeacon L. W. Smith, of Topeka, Kans., pastor in charge of the local Episcopal church, officiating. Interment was in Holton cemetery.
