Gharring, son of Leonard and Flevy Gharring, was born at Nelson June 10, 1903. He received his education in the Nuckolls County school system. He was united in marriage to Clela Corman, June 10, 1927. She preceded him in death on June 23, 1951. While living in Nebraska his main occupation was farming. He also served as a county commissioner. He was united in marriage to Bernice Schrefler, March 21, 1953. They moved, to a farm in Nampa, Idaho, in January 1954, where they lived until 1986, when they moved into Nampa. During those years he also worked for Northrup-King Seed Company. He served two terms on the Nampa-Meridian Irrigation Board. Survivors include his wife, Bernice; his three children, Ruth Grogan, Falls Church, Va., Harold, Nampa, and Rose Blanchard, Hamilton, Mont.; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Klawitter-Price Funeral Home, Nelson, is in charge of the arrangements.
