Description	:	Earl Herbert Gharring, oldest of four sons, was born to Leonard Mack and Flevey LaBounty Gharring, November 14, 1894, on a farm near Nelson. He died November 2, 1973, at the Good Samaritan Center in Nelson at the age of 78 years, 11 months and 18 days. He was married to Ruby Ferebee November 9, 1915. He died November 2, 1973, at the Good Samaritan Center in Nelson at the age of 78 years, 11 months and 18 days. He was married to Ruby Ferebee November 9, 1915. Born to this union were a daughter, Yeteive Nielsen of Superior and a son, Bryce of San Diego, California. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby, on October 26, 1924; his mother, October 28, 1948 and his father, September 13, 1956. On June 28, 1941, he was married to Violet Rogers. He farmed northwest of Nelson from 1917 to 1969. He served as County Commissioner of Dist. #3 for 12 years. He was a faithful member of the Nelson Christian Church and served as an Elder. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving widow, Violet; his daughter, Yeteive; a son, Bryce; 3 brothers, Otis of Bountiful, Utah, Clarence of Nampa, Idaho and Alfred of Nelson; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held on Sunday, November 4, 1973 at 2:30 p.m. from the First Christian Church in Nelson with Pastor Victor Schwarz officiating. Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery. Klawitter Funeral Home of Nelson was in charge of arrangements. Friends and relatives from out of town who attended the funeral of Earl Gharring were Mercedes Zikmund of Grand Island, Donna Saylor of Lincoln, Mr. and Mrs. Otis Gharring of Bountiful, Utah, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Drohman of Moorcroft, Wyoming, Loren L. Ferebee of Seattle, Washington, Shirley Peterson of Hastings, Mrs. Jack Slocum of Geneva, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Schulz of Casper, Wyoming, Clarence Gharring of Nampa, Idao, Bryce Gharring Jr. of Claire Mont, California, Bryce Gharring Sr. of San Diego, California, Wanda Schultz of Lincoln and Mr. and Mrs. Kirk Nelson of Hastings.
