He was born October 21, 1900 at Alcester, the son of August W. and Elizabeth (Heimann) Rosemore. As a young child he moved with his family to Pingree, North Dakota where he was later educated. Read More	Rosemore, Clarence M. October 21, 1900 - June 13, 1982 Clarence Martin Rosemore, 81, died Tuesday, June 15, 1982 at Hand County Memorial Hospital. He was born October 21, 1900 at Alcester, the son of August W. and Elizabeth (Heimann) Rosemore. As a young child he moved with his family to Pingree, North Dakota where he was later educated. His mother died March 26, 1912 in a house fire, and his father later married Irene (Hein) Dierkson February 1, 1914 in Union Co., SD. As a young man he was employed as a farm laborer. He married Martha Stonefield, daughter of Fred and Pearl (Boardman) Stonefield, at DeSmet, SD on April 15, 1931. They moved to Miller in January 1933. He was employed for 25 years by Chicago-Northwestern Railroad, retiring in December, 1970. In the summers he worked as the city park groundskeeper for the City of Miller until 1977 when ill health forced his retirement. He is survived by his wife; five sons, Orville L. "Bud", Eureka, Nevada, Larry F., Hawthorne, Nevada, August W. "Gus", St. Lawrence, Vincent C., Miller and Loren F., Gabbs, Nevada; two daughters, Mrs. Ervin (Loretta P.) Diede, Hastings, MN and Mrs. Marlin (Leila E.) Jerpseth, Burnsville, MN; 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; one half-brother, Francis "Bud" Rosemore, Sioux Falls; two sisters, Lila Sonichsen, Ireton, Iowa and Mayme Swanson, Hawarden, Iowa and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Luella Olson; one brother, Harvey Rosemore; one step-brother, Herman Dierkson and two step-sisters, Carrie Turner and Marie Dvorak Costello. Funeral services were held Friday, June 18, at the First United Methodist Church, Miller with the Rev. Donald Greenough officiating. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery, Miller. Pallbearers were Merle Dirkson, Dave Blachford, Morris Droppers, Randy Hedge, Don Holley and Craig Wharton.
