Clarence Richard Imus was born September 25, 1901 and died Tuesday, October 10, 1978 at the Boone County Hospital in Albion. On March 16, 1927 he was baptized and confirmed in the Peace Lutheran Church (Timber Creek) near Belgrade. He was united in marriage to Margaret Warken on March 11, 1925 at the Zion Lutheran Church, to this union was born one daughter, Shirley, now living at National City, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Imus lived in the Belgrade area for about six years then moved to Primrose where they were engaged in farming. The family moved to Albion in 1939 where Mr. Imus drove a truck and worked as a carpenter. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife Margaret of Albion, one daughter, Shirley, granddaughters, Mrs. George (Marcia) Oliva and Mrs. Debra Hicks, great grandchildren, Kimberly Oliva and Tina and Robbie Hicks, seven sisters and one brother. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
