She was suffering from respiratory complications.... Lillian Sarah (Imus) Kershaw was born Oct. 17, 1906 in Nance County to Burton and Clara Imus. She lived her entire wedded life in the Spalding community. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Raymond (Ned) who passed away Sept. 1, 1964, her parents, two brothers Clyde and Clarence and three grandchildren. She leaves to mourn, two sons, Junior and Don of Spalding; five daughters, Mrs. Ted (Pauline) Hemminsen of Primrose, Mrs. Bill Pearl Fitzsommons of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Cliff (Cecile) DeFreece of Columbus, Mrs. Harold (LaJean) Kelly and Ms. James (Jackie) Smyth of Omaha; one brother, Lloyd of Rullerton; six sisters, Mrs. Earl Wallace (Grace) Anderson of Decature, Mrs. Hershell (Hazel) Winfrey of North Platte, Mrs. Delbert (Clara) Fraka of Belgrade, Mrs. Vern (Alberta) McCormick of Los Angeles Calif; and Mrs. Calvin (Vivian) Squire of Little Rock, Arkansas; thirty seven grandchildren, forth-eight great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Lilly was a member of St. Michael's parish, St. Ann's and the Catholic Daughters. She was active in "Tops" and spent many enjoyable hours as a seamstress for her family and friends. Every day a very special time was spent with her dear friends reciting the Rosary. We love her so and are thankful our wonderful Lord game us this much time to be with her.
