Services were held Wednesday, January 13, at 2 p.m. at Palmer's Funeral Home in Fullerton. The Rev. Robert Neven officiated. Burial was in the Fullerton Cemetery. Mr. Imus was born November 10, 1908 in Nance County to Burton and Clara Eisenbauer Imus of Belgrade. He attended rural schools and grew to manhood in Nance County. He married Lora Purdy on September 29, 1930 in Mankato, Kansas. From 1930 to 1936 he worked for the Soil Conservaton Service in Albion. From 1936 to 1943 he was employed with the Highway Department in Colorado,Wyoming and Alaska. In 1944 he returned to farming in Nance County. He retired from farming in 1972 and they moved to Fullerton. Later they moved to Central City in 1985. Survivors include his wife, Lora; two sons, Harold of Belgrade and Jerry of Fullerton; one dughter, Mrs. Roger (Judith) Allen of Aurora, Colorado; five sisters, Grace Anderson of Decatur, Mrs. Hazel Winfrey of North Platte, Mrs. Clara Fraka of Belgrade, Mrs. Alberta McCormick of Englewood, California and Vivian Squires of Little Rock, Arkansas; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Dean; two brothers, Clyde and Clarence; and two sisters, Ethel Ceder and Lillian Kershaw.
