Clarice was born in Amanda Township, Hancock County, Ohio on May 24, 1917 to the late Clarence and Ethel Mae (Deidrick) Beck. She was a graduate of Vanlue High School. Clarice enjoyed bowling, golfing, solving the daily crossword puzzle and delighted in playing cards and other games with her family. Clarice was born in Amanda Township, Hancock County, Ohio on May 24, 1917 to the late Clarence and Ethel Mae (Deidrick) Beck. She was a graduate of Vanlue High School. Clarice enjoyed bowling, golfing, solving the daily crossword puzzle and delighted in playing cards and other games with her family. She enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Clarice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Risner, her son, Gary, a daughter, Sharon Newkirk and a sister, Evelyn Shaffer. She is survived by her daughters, Roxanne Rossman of Findlay and Jane Mininni of Florida and by her sister, Marilyn Woodruff of Findlay. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and her devoted niece and nephew, Kathy and Robert (Butch) Humphrey. Clarice's humor, fortitude and love will always be remembered. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and cherished her. The family gratefully acknowledges the care and compassion provided by the staff of Bridge Hospice of Findlay. Expressions of condolence may be given to this organization. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2009 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, immediately following will be the graveside service at Zion Bloom Cemetery, Hancock County with Reverend Mark Bishop officiating.
