Description	:	OBITUARY FOR CLAYTON LOUIS* TROXEL -------- Clayton Louis* Troxel, son of Charles and Phebe Troxel, was born March 21, 1905 in Chase County, Nebr. At an early age he was moved to Hayes County where he grew to manhood and spent nearly all his years. He met Opal Irene Wickizer of Max, Nebr., and they were married at Holyoke, Colo. the 17th of October, 1924. To this union, three children were born, Alice Irene, Lucy Ellen and Charles Darrell. His father, mother, two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. ... Read More	OBITUARY FOR CLAYTON LOUIS* TROXEL -------- Clayton Louis* Troxel, son of Charles and Phebe Troxel, was born March 21, 1905 in Chase County, Nebr. At an early age he was moved to Hayes County where he grew to manhood and spent nearly all his years. He met Opal Irene Wickizer of Max, Nebr., and they were married at Holyoke, Colo. the 17th of October, 1924. To this union, three children were born, Alice Irene, Lucy Ellen and Charles Darrell. His father, mother, two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. In the spring of 1949, they moved to a farm in Hitchcock County, Nebr., where he resided until his death Jan. 16, 1964. He was a faithful, loving husband and father. His first thoughts always of others, Lute, as he was known by all, had his happiest moments when visiting with family and friends. He was a great lover of children, and a companion to all. Those who mourn his passing are his wife Opal; two daughters and a son, Mr. and Mrs. George Harmon of Linch, Wyoming., Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Troxel of Costa Mesa, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin DeHart of Albuquerque, NM; seven grandchildren, Viola Ayers of Casper, Wyoming., Clayton and Duane DeHart, Terry and Bertina Harmon, Tery Jo and Timmy Troxel; one sister, Elma Berry and one brother, Orley of Wauneta; a number of nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Funeral services were held in Wauneta's Church of Christ Sunday with Orville Hunt officiating. Interment was at Riverside Cemetery, the V. B. Johnston Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
