Read More	THE IMPERIAL REPUBLICAN, Imperial, Nebraska ------ Mary Ethel Troxel was born to Charles David and Phebe Caroline Troxel at their homestead northeast of Wauneta, Nebr., on October 21, 1906, and went to meet her Maker on September 28, 1957, at Omaha, at the age of 50 years, 11 months and seven days. She surrendered her life to Christ about 20 years ago at Hillcrest school house, was baptized and has been a true servant until the time of her departure. She was united in holy matrimony to Harry Edgar McLain at Holyoke, Colo., on September 15, 1953. To this happy union eleven children were born, three daughters, Reneta Hallett and Jean Herbert of Imperial, and Joyce Tweedy of Las Animas, Colo.; eight sons, Allen and Martin of Englewood, Colo.; Lourn of San Francisco, Calif.; Richard of Pinedale, Wyoming.; Howard, Larry, Melvin and Keith, all at home; three sons-in-law, Irvin Herbert, John Hallett and James Tweedy; three daughters-in-law, Catherine, Patsy and Julie; 10 grandchildren, and two step grandchildren also survive. She also leaves three brothers, Fred of Manhattan Beach, Calif.; Orley of Wauneta, and Lute of Palisade; two sisters, Mrs. Ike Berry of Hayes Center, and Mrs. Chester Berry of Wauneta; a number of nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Her parents and eight brothers and sisters had gone on before. She was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, October 2, at the Methodist Church with Rev. Austin McCully, pastor of the Berean Fundamental Church, officiating. Mrs. Cornelius Johnson and Mrs. George Stahly sang, accompanied by Mrs. Ora Humphreys. Casket bearers were Wayne Berry, Dave Martin, Elbert Berry, Paul Hill, Fred Maucher and Kenneth Maucher. * * * * * * "I cannot say, and I will not say That she is dead -- she is just away!
