Otis married Florence Shelbourn, one of the children of William and Ida Wallingford Shelbourn, grandparents of Clement. The Shelbourns were a pioneer Cherry County family. VALENTINE NEWSPAPER April 24, 1980 Valentine Cherry County Nebraska Clement (Bill) Hahn Clement "Bill" Hahn was born on September 7, 1915 to Otis D. W. and Florence E. Shelbourn Hahn at Harmony, Ne. and passed away on April 15, 1980 at the Cherry County Hospital in Valentine, Ne. He attended elementary school at Harmony. He joined the CCC Camp at Valentine in August of 1936 and later moved to Mitchell, Ne. and worked with Company 750. In March of 1941 he enlisted in the armed services and served in the European theatre. He was discharged in October of 1945. On March 6, 1946 he was married to Delores Mae Hronek at Valentine, Ne. To this union five children were born. He spent his married life with his family farming north of Valentine. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Otis "Cotton" Hahn, JR.; and an infant sister, Helen Ruth. He is survived by his wife Mae, at home; three daughter, Mrs. Patty Wagner and husband, David of Scottsbluff, Londa of Frankfort, Michigan and Joyce of Rushville; two sons, Robert and his wife, Ryn of Sidney and Larry of Chadron; four grandchildren, Phillip, Emily and Scott Wagner and Tim Hahn; two brothers, Clayton of Boise, Idaho and John of Osceola; one sister, Barbara Colburn of Valentine; other relatives and friends.
