Description	:	Cletus Arthur Shuler, 75, of Shenandoah, died on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014. He born on Oct. 12, 1939, and was a son of the late Paul Russell Shuler and Charlotte Atwood Shuler. Mr. Shuler graduated from Shenandoah High School in 1958 and retired with 38 years of service from Sprint Telephone Company. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Shenandoah, where he served on the church council, as Sunday school superintendent and was a deacon. Read More	Cletus Arthur Shuler, 75, of Shenandoah, died on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014. He born on Oct. 12, 1939, and was a son of the late Paul Russell Shuler and Charlotte Atwood Shuler. Mr. Shuler graduated from Shenandoah High School in 1958 and retired with 38 years of service from Sprint Telephone Company. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Shenandoah, where he served on the church council, as Sunday school superintendent and was a deacon. He was a lifetime member of the Shenandoah Volunteer Fire Department, Massanuttan Hunting Club, the Virginia Bear Hunters Association and the International Brotherhood of the Electrical Workers. He lived his entire life in the Grove Hill area. He owned and operated a small farm and was an avid hunter. Surviving in addition to his wife of 55 years, Margaret Hensley Shuler, are two daughters, Natalie Shuler Rinaca and Millicent Shuler Smith; a son C.A. Shuler; a brother, David R. Shuler; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, JoAnne Glenn Hite. His body was cremated. A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30, at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery by the Rev. Mark Briehl and the Rev. Phyllis Diamond. Friends may visit with the family following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Paul Cemetery Fund, 6433 U.S. Hwy. 340, Shenandoah, Va. 22849; Shenandoah Volunteer Rescue Squad, 544 Fourth Street, Shenandoah; or to the Shenandoah Volunteer Fire Department, 201 Pennsylvania Ave., Shenandoah.
