Description	:	APGAR, Clifford E. Age 95, of Hamilton died Monday, November 8, 2010 at Sunrise Assisted Living. He was born in Hamilton on June 12, 1915 the son of Louis R. and Delia (Rust) Apgar. He was a 1934 graduate of Hamilton High School and a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in England and following the D Day Invasion of Europe he served in the 3rd Armor Division until November 30, 1945. Age 95, of Hamilton died Monday, November 8, 2010 at Sunrise Assisted Living. He was born in Hamilton on June 12, 1915 the son of Louis R. and Delia (Rust) Apgar. He was a 1934 graduate of Hamilton High School and a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in England and following the D Day Invasion of Europe he served in the 3rd Armor Division until November 30, 1945. He married Louise Stewart on June 30, 1939 in Hamilton and she preceded him in death on January 10, 1997. He had been employed at Herring Hall Safe Company from 1936 to 1938 and at Champion Papers as a Machinist from 1938 until retirement in 1978. He was a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church and the VFW #1069 Fairfield. He is survived by his daughter, June Scholl and husband, Robert of Oxford, his sister, Velderine "Sis" Coggeshell of Union, Kentucky, his granddaughter, Tricia Jaram; his great grandson, Cody Jaram both of Hamilton; special nieces, Phyllis Beamer, Ruth Ann Richter and Nicci Kohlhepp and husband, Brent; special nephew and friend, Greg Morehead and step grandchildren and great grandchildren, Melinda Wilder, Todd Scholl, Amanda Vinopal, April Scholl, Galen Wilder, Maggie Wilder, Alden Scholl and Jenna Scholl. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his son, Billy C. Apgar in 1975, brothers, Raymond, Billy and Bobby; a niece Linda Brock and a step grandson, Gary Scholl. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd. with Pastor Barbara Dafler officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Park Avenue United Methodist Church, 801 Park Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
