Description	:	Clifford L. Lamb, son of Jas. W. Lamb and Orra Bradley, was born January 12, 1888 at Shickley, Nebraska and passed away June 30, 1971 at the Osceola, Nebraska hospital. Clifford was united in marriage to Mattie Davis on October 21, 1908. To this union eight children were born. The family lived on farms near Nelson until 1937 when they moved in to Nelson. Clifford was custodian of the Nelson Public Schools for seventeen years. He and Mrs. Lamb moved to Seward, Nebraska in 1956 where Mrs. Lamb passed away in November 1959. Lamb and Orra Bradley, was born January 12, 1888 at Shickley, Nebraska and passed away June 30, 1971 at the Osceola, Nebraska hospital. Clifford was united in marriage to Mattie Davis on October 21, 1908. To this union eight children were born. The family lived on farms near Nelson until 1937 when they moved in to Nelson. Clifford was custodian of the Nelson Public Schools for seventeen years. He and Mrs. Lamb moved to Seward, Nebraska in 1956 where Mrs. Lamb passed away in November 1959. After Mrs. Lamb's death, he made his home with his son and daughter-in-law and with them moved to Osceola in 1963. He was a member of the Nelson Methodist Church. He was a devoted husband and father and was especially proud of his grandchildren. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, wife, four sisters, one brother, three sons and two daughters. Survivors include his son, Burton of Osceola, two daughters, Mrs. Earl Benson (Ila) of Seward, and Mrs. Earl Lanham (Pat) of Nora, eleven grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and two brothers, Harry of Callaway, Nebraska and Max of Lincoln, Nebraska. He also leaves a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held July 3, 1971 at 10:00 a.m. at the Klawitter Funeral Home in Nelson with the Rev. Jerry Densmore officiating. Miss Elizabeth Wehrman sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In The Garden accompanied by Mrs. Homer Wehrman, Sr. Pallbearers were six of Clifford's grandsons: David Benson, Robert Benson, Jim Benson, Alan Lanham, Mike Lanham and Lindley Lamb. Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery. Out of town relatives, besides the immediate family, attending services for Cliff Lamb were Harry Lamb of Callaway, Mr. and Mrs. Max Lamb, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Rogers and Mrs. Ethel Edmands, all of Lincoln, Mr. and Mrs. John Crook and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Zeigler of Superior.
