Description	:	Clifford Norman Wilson, 49, of Windsor was killed instantly about 1 p.m. Sunday when his tractor rolled over on him while he was plowing a garden. State police said Wilson was plowing a garden for Carlton Cooper at his home hear Cooper Mills Cooper, who was with Wilson at the time of the accident, told state police his back was turned when the accident happened. Read More	Clifford Norman Wilson, 49, of Windsor was killed instantly about 1 p.m. Sunday when his tractor rolled over on him while he was plowing a garden. State police said Wilson was plowing a garden for Carlton Cooper at his home hear Cooper Mills Cooper, who was with Wilson at the time of the accident, told state police his back was turned when the accident happened. Mrs. Cooper called police and the tractor was removed from Wilson's body by a wrecker operated by Richard Brann, Windsor. Wilson's grandson, Clifford N. Wilson, III, had ridden to the area to be plowed with his grandfather, but was not on the machine when the accident occurred. May 12, 1919, the son of Clifford N. He was born in Whitefield, Mr. and Mrs. Florence Douglas Wilson, Sr. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army Infantry in the European Theatre. He was seriously injured in Germany and was awarded the purple heart. He was a member of the VFW Post of Washington. Surviving include his widow, Mrs. Elsie Cockson Wilson of Windsor; his mother, of Whitefield; three daughters, Mrs. Serena Delano of Whitefield; Mrs. Patsy Mansir of Gardiner, and Mrs. Alta Merrill of Connecticut; two sons, Clifford N. Wilson III of Augusta and Charles D. Wilson of Lawrence, Mass., a brother, Linwood Wilson of Portland; 14 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Waldoboro Press: May 9th, 1968
