Description	:	Clyde C. Waddle entered eternal life on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. His spirit is carried on by 7 children, 23 grandchildren and 37 great- grandchildren, and an extended family of relation and friends from every walk of life too numerous to list but not forgotten. Clyde is reunited with his wife, Esther, enjoying her famous cinnamon rolls; and also with his son, Denny, probably fishing and hunting together. He attended school and graduated from Esbon, Kansas. He enlisted in the 390th Army Infantry in 1945. He married the love of his life on August 14, 1949 and filled their home with 8 children: Denny, Becky, Chris, Sheryl, Mary, Ged, Lori, and Bud. Following his enlistment he was employed at the Coca Cola plant, Ideal Cement Plant, Mid-America Dairy, Co-op and Alexander Motors. You may read this and recall a story that touched your heart, tickled your funny bone, or maybe made you say, "huh?" We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Clyde during his 86 years, among them: go ask your Mom, you can't get up from the table until you drink all your milk, drink more water, carrots put hair on your chest, coffee stunts your growth, Dr. McGillicutty , " The cure all to end all", duct tape fixes everything, vice grips are the best tool, always have jumper cables to help someone in need, let them hear you in a crowd, and don't use a butter knife for a screwdriver. Most people who knew Clyde knew him as "Grandpa". It was his CB handle, always the name on his belt, and the name all the kids in the neighborhood called him. Burial with military honors was in the Prairie Home Cemetery, near Esbon, Kansas.
