Description	:	Clyde Clifford Farrell, son of Benjamin F. and Celesta Farrell, was born on a farm near Clarinda, Iowa, January 7, 1888; and passed to his eternal reward January 29, 1954, at the age of 66 years and 22 days. The greater part of the last four months of his illness was spent in the Veterans hospital at Omaha, Neb, where he passed away. He was united in marriage to Grace Pershin September 1, 1920. To this union were born three children, Calvin of Clarinda; Mrs Betty Williams of Lewis, Iowa, and Beverly Maca at home. He is survived by his wife Grace, his son and two daughters and two granddaughters, Peggy Jean Maca and Kenny Williams. He is also survived by two sisters, Bertha Miller of Clarinda and Mrs Ethel Slaight of Des Moines, Iowa, and one brother, Glade of New Market, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lloyd and Walter. He confessed Christ at a revival of the Methodist church when a young man. He was a veteran of the first World War and served his country faithfully in its hour of need. He received his education in the public schools of Page county. He was a farmer by occupation and spent his entire life at his chosen profession. Funeral services were conducted from the Walker funeral home at 2:00 pm Sunday January 31, 1954, with the Rev I.E. Stickelman in charge. Vocal music was by Aletha Hutchings and Doris Forbes who sang, "Beyond the Sunset," and "No Night There." Organist was Aletha Hutchings. Casket bearers who carried Mr Farrell to his final resting place in the Old Memory cemetery were Kenneth Farrell, Max Farrell, Victor Farrell, Darwin Farrell, Elbert Pershin, and Lee Pershin.
