Description	:	Walter Lee Farrell, son of Benjamin F. and Celesta C. Farrrell, was born on a farm near Clarinda, Iowa on August 10, 1890 and died in Clarinda July 28, 1952 at the age of 61 years, 11 months and 18 days. He was united in marriage to Nellie E. Wineinger, January 15, 1913. To this union were born two sons, Kenneth L. of Clarinda, Max M. of Glenwood, and one daughter, Mrs Wyleen Hambleton, of Medical Lake, Wash, who, together with their mother, survive. Farrrell, was born on a farm near Clarinda, Iowa on August 10, 1890 and died in Clarinda July 28, 1952 at the age of 61 years, 11 months and 18 days. He was united in marriage to Nellie E. To this union were born two sons, Kenneth L. of Clarinda, Max M. of Glenwood, and one daughter, Mrs Wyleen Hambleton, of Medical Lake, Wash, who, together with their mother, survive. He is also survived by two brothers, Clyde of Clarinda and Glade of New Market, and two sisters, Mrs Bertha Miller of Clarinda and Mrs Ethel Slaight of Bedford and a granddaughter Latece Farrell, who has made her home with her grandparents all her life. Other survivors are Van W. Hambleton, son-in-law and two daughters-in-law, Marion and Peggy Farrell, one uncle, one aunt and a number of nieces and nephews. Walter united with the Church of Christ of New Market in August, 1910 and remained in that fellowship during the remainder of his life. His favorite hymn was the "Old Rugged Cross." He received his education in the public schools of Page county. He was a farmer by occupation, and his entire life was spent on the farm. Funeral service was conducted from the Walker Funeral Home at 3 pm Thursday, July 31, 1952 with Rev I.E. Stickelman in charge. Music was by Aletha Hutchings and Doris Forbes, who sang "Old Rugged Cross" and "Going Down the Valley." Casket bearers who carried him to his final resting place in the Old Memory cemetery were Calvin Farrell, Keith Neely, Darwin Farrell, William Munyon, Lawrence Beauchamp and Gilbert Yearous.
