Hamrick, a young man residing in Chapmantown, yesterday morning at 8 o’clock, after a serious illness of pneumonia which followed an attack of the measles. The young man was 21 years of age and had been a resident of Chico for several years. He leaves a mother and two sisters to mourn his early death, besides a host of friends, as the personality of the young man attracted all with whom he came in contact. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home, under the direction of the Woodmen of the World, to which lodge the young man was a member. The members of the lodge will accompany the body to the grave, where final rites will be given by them. ~~~ Chico Record, Tuesday Morning, March 19, 1907, pg 4 col 4: Card of Thanks.
