Description	:	Connie Mae Hardy , 79, died Monday, October 10, 2011 in Onalaska, WA. She was born February 21, 1932 to Andrew and Vera (Swalander) Olson in Chehalis, WA. Following high school, Connie was married to Loren Foister. Mr. Foister's work was an opportunity for Connie and her new family to travel and live throughout the area including; Quinault, Pe Ell and Hoquiam. Subsequent to divorce, Connie married Kenneth Hardy in the 1970's. She had also been an employee of the IFA Tree Farm. She was born February 21, 1932 to Andrew and Vera (Swalander) Olson in Chehalis, WA. Following high school, Connie was married to Loren Foister. Mr. Foister's work was an opportunity for Connie and her new family to travel and live throughout the area including; Quinault, Pe Ell and Hoquiam. Subsequent to divorce, Connie married Kenneth Hardy in the 1970's. She had also been an employee of the IFA Tree Farm. She was a longtime member of Jackson Prairie Assembly of God, enjoyed volunteering, gardening, crocheting and embroidery and loved spending time with Abby, her dog. Connie will be remembered as a selfless and giving person. She is survived by sons; Gary Foister of Mossyrock, WA, Lyle Foister and his partner, Debbie Godsey both of Chehalis, WA and Bill (Carol) Foister of Onalaska; stepdaughters, Ronda Chumbley of Ethel, WA and Shannon Buchanan of Oak Harbor, WA; a brother, Roger Olson of Chehalis; 13 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth "Duane" Hardy ; brother, Andrew Olson; and a sister, Jean Vick. Memorials may be donations to Assured Home Health and Hospice, Centralia. Visitation may be made between the hours of Noon and 5:00 PM, Thursday, October 13 at Sticklin Funeral Chapel in Centralia. A funeral for Connie Hardy is scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 14 at Jackson Prairie Assembly of God in Chehalis, with Pastor Bill Morris officiating. Following a luncheon at the church, interment will take place at Toledo Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Sticklin Funeral Chapel.
