Description	:	HOFFERBER, CONRAD—On October 14, 1867, in Saratof, Russia, there was born to Henry and Catherine Marguerite Hofferber, a son, Conrad. He grew to manhood in Russia. June 3, 1890, he was united in marriage to Marguerite Camezel. Three years later they came to America and Geneva, Neb., where they had resided since. To them were born ten children. Two died in infancy and Kathryn, Mrs. William Ebbeka, passed away in May, 1944. June 3, 1890, he was united in marriage to Marguerite Camezel. Three years later they came to America and Geneva, Neb., where they had resided since. To them were born ten children. Two died in infancy and Kathryn, Mrs. William Ebbeka, passed away in May, 1944. Those living are Conrad in Idaho, Mrs. Henry Aden of Shickley, Fred of Geneva, George of Lexington and William, Barthold and Lorene of Geneva. Mr. Hofferber was a member of the congregational church and of the modern Woodmen for more than twenty-five years. He was a jovial nature and enjoyed a large circle of friends. He had been in poor health the past nine months. After being treated in the local hospital two weeks, he was taken to the St. Elizabeth hospital in Lincoln, where he was treated a week before his death, which occurred at 12:10 a. m. Monday, February 24, 1947, aged 79 years, four months and ten days. He was to have undergone an operation that morning. Those surviving besides his companion of early fifty-seven years and the sons and daughters, are one brother Henry of Laramie, Wyo., fourteen grandchildren and a host of friends. Funeral services were held at the congregational church in Geneva last Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Isaac Cassel officiated. Mrs. W. H. Hinkle and Mrs. J. W.
