Cora Belle Nace was born May 28, 1868, near Victor, Iowa, where she lived until the time of her departure. She received her education in the Victor Public Schools. Cora Belle Nace was born May 28, 1868, near Victor, Iowa, where she lived until the time of her departure. She received her education in the Victor Public Schools. In 1886 she was untied in marriage with Andrew Sheridan and to this union three girls were born: May, Nan, and Verna. May died in childhood. She was a member of the Congregational church in Victor. She was a sufferer of physical afflictions for many years, but has been loving and cheerful, and after a long, serious illness, she has gone to claim the reward promised to the faithful. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband and two daughters, Verna, and Nan E. Michalek. To know her was to love her. She greatly desired to live longer; that she ;might live to see the younger daughter finish her education and settled in life and that she might fill a place of usefulness to God, her loved ones, and friends, but she was willing, even in great suffering to submit all to Him who knows best, and that best was to be taken away, and she is gone, to be among us no more in this life. The funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon, at 2 p.m. at the home, conducted by Reverends Maxwell and Rex, and interment was made in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
