Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Craig Methodist Church for Mrs. A.G. Clark, a lifelong Craig area resident. She died in her sleep at her home in Craig the preceding Thursday. She was 83 years of age. Cora May Bovee, youngest child of Nelson and Nancy Bovee, was born March 5, 1876, on a farm southeast of Craig. When she was ten years, she was left an orphan and spent the rest of her childhood in the home of her brother John Bovee. On March 7, 1900, she was married to Arthur G. Clark. To this union were born four sons and six daughters. She is survived by three sons, Kenneth A. of Easton, Maryland; A. Leland of Poolesville, Philadelphia and David G. of Berwyn, Philadelphia; and her daughters, Wilma Hanson of Decatur, Agnes Robertson of Lincoln, Anna Phillips and Marjorie Minier of Denver, Colorado, Elizabeth Davis of Baltimore, Maryland, and Marion Hunter of LaJunta, Colorado. 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1939 and one son, Hiram Bovee Clark who was killed in World War II in 1945. A sister Minnie Hancock of Craig alone survives of the family of fourteen. Mrs. Clark was a member of the Craig American Legion Auxiliary. She joined the Alder Grove Methodist Church in 1894, and previous to that time she was a member of the New England Church. Rev. Norman L. Crounse conducted the service. Music was furnished by Mrs. Henry Erikson who also accompanied Mrs. Fred Fager and Mrs. Guy Bonneau in singing "What a Friend we have in Jesus." Pallbearers were Earl Wagner, Lane Hogan, Dwight Patrick, Sherman Malette, Byron Bartlig and Carl Olson. Interment was in the Craig Cemetery.
