Description	:	Mrs. Cora (Smith) Parish, 82, died at 12:30 a.m. today in a Marion rest home, where she was recently taken from the home of a daughter, Mrs. Garnet Draper, with whom she had resided. Mrs. Parish was in failing health for several years. Rev. Chester Mitchell, assisted by Rev. Ralph Holcombe, will conduct funeral services in the Windfall Christian church at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with interment in Brookside cemetery, Windfall. Friends are invited to call at the Shawley Funeral home, 29th and Washington streets, Marion, from 6 p.m. today through Tuesday. The body will lie in state at the church from 9 a.m.... The body will lie in state at the church from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday. Born at Windfall Aug. 18, 1874, the deceased woman was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Smith. A lifelong resident of the community, she was educated in Windfall schools and was married to George Parish, of Windfall, who died several years ago. She was a member of the Windfall Christian church. A brother and a sister are deceased, and Mrs. Parish is survived by Mrs. Draper and four sons; including, Claude Parish and Kenneth Parish, both of Jonesboro route 1; Leslie Parish, of Chatsworth, Calif.; and Glenn Parish, of Marion. Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Mrs. J. R. Coffey, of Tipton, and several niece and nephews.
