There was a large attendance and a lavish tribute of beautiful flowers. The Rev. Floyd R. Maynard was the minister in charge of the services at the church, and also read the burial serivce at the graveside in the Brown Cemetery. She was employed in Des Moines for almost two years and later by selective service at Elkader until failing health forced her to resign the position early in 1946.
