Description	:	Cornie Vos Services for Cornie Vos, 79, of Oskaloosa, who died April 29, 1995, were held May 2 at Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Oskaloosa. Garden Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Interment was in Peoria Cemetery, Peoria. The Rev. Paul-E. Bakker officiated at the services. Music was provided by Ruth Van Weelden, organist, and Carol Houk and Wayne Roozenboom, vocalists. Pallbearers were Rosalie, Daniel, Rachel, Michael and Margaret Vos, Kyle Strache, Miriam Louthan, and Erin Van Wyk. Mr. Vos was born April 3, 1916 at Peoria, the son of Adrian and Sarah Vander Molen Vos. On Aug. 27, 1941, he married Cornelia Van Zee at the home of her parents at Leighton. They farmed near Peoria until 1952 when they moved to Oskaloosa where they continued to farm until farm accident in 1971 forced him to retire. He was a member of Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Oskaloosa where he had served as elder and deacon and as a member of the Christian Reformed Mission Board. He was preceded in death by one son, Darl at age three, and one brother, Martin. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Arvin and his wife Corrie of Bowling Green, Ky. and Donald and his wife Bonnie of Oskaloosa; two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Carolyn) Strache of Malibu, Calif, and Mrs. Rod (Pauline) Van Wyk of Ankeny; 15 grandchildren; two brothers, Peter and Ben, both of Pella; and two sisters, Margaret Van Haaften and Anna Roose, both of Pella.
