Description	:	William Lawrence Conley Hisel died Dec.27 from pneumonia.Funeral services were held Dec.30, at Brockhaus Funeral Home in Creighton,NE with Rev.Bill Knieval officiating.Pallbear were Claude Livingston,Craig Livingston,Martin Hisel,Craig and Curt and Casey Winquist,Jerry Stevens,Clint Livingston.Mr Conley was born Aug.26,1920 in Lewellen,NE to Woodie L.& Agnes(Carey)Hisel.He was raised on a ranch south of Ashby,Neb.He graduated from Garden Country High School in Oshkosh,NE in 1939.In Sept 1942 he joined the service.He married Ruth Elaine Hansen of Akron at Yuma,AZ.on Sept 2,1945.He was discharged as a Corporal in Feb. 1946.The couple then took up residency in Akron,Iowa where he worked with his brother-in-law,Ford Hansen...
