Mr. Lamb worked for many years for Merwin Automotive and then worked three years at the Wolf Creek nuclear plant site before going to work for J.D. Miller a few months ago. He was born Feb. 14, 1926 in Americus, the son of Claude C. and Opal Finuf Lamb. He married Evelyn Brecht on Aug. 20, 1949 in Americus and she died Jan 27, 1975. He married Grace Annette Burgess in Emporia on Oct. 16, 1976. Mr. Lamb was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member and trustee of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 2587. Survivors include his mother, 810 Union St.; two sons, Michael Lamb, 214 Rural St. and John F. Lamb Jr., Hamilton; two daughters, Marsha Calaman, 502 West St., and Linda Lamoureux, 214 rural St.; one brother, Wayne Lamb of Wichita; two sisters, Jean Lemen of Blue Springs, Mo. and Clara Read, 329 Garfield St., and on Granddaughter, Christina Lee Calaman. He was preceded in death by his father and one son Johnny Ray Lamb. Services in the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Gary Munion of the Hamilton United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Americus Cemetery. Memorial contributions have been suggested to The Farm, a foster home for teen-agers near Admire. They may be sent in care of the funeral home
