Description	:	Craig Lathrop King, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at the Southlake Village Rehabilitation Care Center, Lincoln, Nebraska. Craig was born on October 24, 1945 in Omaha, Nebraska the eldest of two sons born to Keith and Esther (Lathrop) King. Craig received his primary education from Holdrege (NE.) Elementary School and later graduated with the Holdrege (NE.) High School class of 1964. Craig pursued higher education from the Grand Island (NE.) Read More	Craig Lathrop King, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at the Southlake Village Rehabilitation Care Center, Lincoln, Nebraska. Craig was born on October 24, 1945 in Omaha, Nebraska the eldest of two sons born to Keith and Esther (Lathrop) King. Craig received his primary education from Holdrege (NE.) Elementary School and later graduated with the Holdrege (NE.) High School class of 1964. Craig pursued higher education from the Grand Island (NE.) School of Business, earning a Junior Accounting Diploma. In 1965, Craig was inducted in to the United States Navy, serving his country as a radioman during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged in 1971. On February 23, 1966, Craig was united in marriage to Janet Johnson. To this union one son, Timothy was born. The family made their home in Lincoln, Nebraska where Craig worked various jobs. He later earned an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Agriculture Business and Management Technology. Craig spent the last 20 years of his career in manufacturing at Molex, Lincoln, Nebraska. Craig was a member of the Capitol City Christian Church, Lincoln, Nebraska. Craig was preceded in death by: parents and nephew, Stanley "Mike" Johnson. Funeral Services for Craig L. King were held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, Nebraska with Pastor Darren Stroh officiating. Interment was in the Prairie Home Cemetery, Holdrege, Nebraska with Military Honors provided by the Martin-Horn American Legion Post #66 in conjunction with the United States Navy Military Honors Team.
