He was at service station att. He resided in Winnsboro and died at Fairfield Mem. Hosp. of a fractured neck and head injury caused in an auto accident. The informant was Mrs. Johnnie Boulware. He can be found on the 1940 US Census for Winnsboro Mills, Fairfield, SC living with his widowed mother Johnnie, 36 and his siblings, Talmadge, 9, Sam, 7, Marion, 5 and Lily Ray, 1. They live with their grandmother Lily Y Timms, 66 and her sons Chalmers, 46 and Bonnie 28. He was born in SC. Found in The State (Columbia, SC) 17 June 1956: Winnsboro, June 16 (Special)-A 19-year-old was killed last night when the automobile he was driving overturned. Three companions were injured. Crosby Young Boulware, son of Mrs. Tal Boulware and the late Mr. Boulware of Route 1, was driving a 1951 Chevrolet. The accident occurred at 11:45 p.m. near the Union Presbyterian Church on Highway S20-70 10 miles from Winnsboro in Fairfield County. The automobile overturned several times. Davis Robertson was dismissed from Fairfield County Memorial Hospital. Watson Wicker and Davis Robinson were reported in satisfactory condition at the hospital. Mr. Boulware, born and reared in Fairfield County, was the son of Mrs. Johnny Timms Boulware and the late Talmadge Thomas Boulware. He was a member of Fairfield Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother; one sister, Lillie Ray Boulware of the home; three brothers, Talmadge Thomas Boulware, Jr. of the home and Clemson College, Sammy B. Boulware of the home and Marion Lindsay Boulware of the Area Training School of West Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted from the Fairfield Baptist Church at 5 p.m. Sunday by the Rev. Ralph J. Brewington. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body is at his home.
