Aged about 35 years. Mr. Swecker was a son of Mrs. and the late E. D. Swecker, who died about a year ago. Cyrus is survived by wife and little four-year old daughter, mother, four brothers, Arlie of Pennsylvania, Dr. B. T., Pearle and Trent of Crabbottom, and four sisters, Mrs. Keckley of Pennsylvania. Misses Pattie, Juanita and Rachel of Crabbottom and host of relatives and friends. He was a faithful member of the Presbyterian church uniting with the church in early manhood, living an exemplary life, and was loyal and true friend to all. When the end was drawing nigh, he assured his loved ones that every thing was alright and that he was ready to go. After the death of his father he and his family moved from Pennsylvania to their Crabbottom home, where he has been engaged in farming and stock raising with several of his brothers. He was an industrious and promising young business man, and will be greatly missed in the community. Funeral services were held Wednesday evening at 3:00 o'clock at the Crabbottom Presbyterian church, conducted by his pastor, Rev. A. E. John son and assisted by Rev. Mack Thomasson of the Methodist church of that place. The service was listened to by a large crowd of friends and relatives. After the services the body was taken to the Crabbottom cemetery where he was laid to rest in the family plot. The floral offering was profuse and beautiful.
