There is a marriage record for Cyrus Treon and Eliza Dolby for 12 October 1856 in Indiana. Cyrus and Eliza are buried next to one another, but that can be misleading. I have added this to the memorial, again with caution. Cyrus was still living in 1900 and on the census in his son's, Daniel W. Treon's, household. Family is on the 1875 census, living in Kansas. Father to at least Mary, Catharine, May, Louisa, Daniel, and Berty. Any information about date of death would be appreciated. ++++++++++++++++++ Daniel W. Treon, well know in Birmingham, living here with his parents, and later united in marriage with Miss Dollie Branner some years ago, died at his home in Fairfield, Wednesday evening of last week, after a weeks[sic] illness with pneumonia. He was born in Indiana on February 27, 1866, and was the son of Cyrus and Eliza Treon. He is survived by his wife, three sons and a daughter, Paul Glenn, Frederick and Hazel. The funeral service was held on Saturday afternoon in the Methodist church in Fairfield, the service being conducted by the Pastor, Rev. Keesey, and the body interred in Evergreen cemetery. Note: His stone in Evergreen cemetery has “Daniel W. Treon 1867-1917”, obituary has “1866” Source: Van Buren Co.
