Services were held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the W. Harry Christy funeral home. The Rev. James Pointer of the Sioux City Baptist church officiated. Burial was in the Union Creek church cemetery at Akron. Mrs. Lucht, the former Daisy Britton, was born June 7, 1917, at Sioux City. Willms June 1, 1934, in Elk Point, S.D. He died Dec. 27, 1956, in Sioux City. She married Herman Lucht May 28, 1960. He died Jan. 25, 1968, in Pomona, Calif. She worked as a house mother at Kansas City University at Manhattan 12 years ago. She retired seven years ago as a sales clerk at Younkers in Sioux City. She was a member of the Sioux City Chapter of Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include two sons, John R. Willms of Clay Center, Kan., and Bryant E. Willms of Pomona, Calif.; six brothers, LaVern of Fredric, Wisc., Harold, Lloyd and Steve, all of Sioux City, Clifford of Spencer, Iowa, and Warren of Waynesville, Mo.; six sisters, Charlotte Grieve and Sharon Farrell, both of Sioux City, Ruth Frazee of Danbury, Wis., Rosella Halversen of Beloit, Ill., Wanda Maes of Colorado Springs, Colo, and Karen Young of Rapid City, S.D.; seven grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
