Description	:	Daniel Kölling was the son of Ernst Heinrich Kölling and Anne Elizabeth Margarethe Hanna Wallger (or Walliger) who immigrated to the United States in 1834 from Eidinghausen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Prussia (now Germany). In the U.S., the surname changed to Collins. Daniel was the first member of his family to be born in the United States.
