Description	:	Danny Lee Stoneburner, 62 of Coalville, Iowa passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at his home in Coalville. Services will be 10:00 AM Friday at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Timothy Myers officiating. A time of gathering for family and friends will be from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Friday at Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Fort Dodge. Danny is survived by his wife, Dee; his five children, Jodie (Jeff) Johnson of Fort Dodge, Robert (Missy) Stoneburner of Fort Dodge, Danell Stoneburner of Fort Dodge, Jessica (Jacob) Schild of Badger, Iowa and Jenna Owens of Fort Dodge; nine grandchildren and one on the way, Jesse Johnson, Jamie Johnson, Jenifer Gregerson, Donovin Gregerson, Kierstyn Schild, Braelynn Schild, Kadence Spindler, Owen Spindler and Journi Owens; five brothers and sisters, Randy (Kathy) Stoneburner of Dayton, Iowa, Terri Long of Denison, Iowa, Johnna (Matthew) Moeller of Ellsworth, Iowa, Darla (Eric) Olsen of Fort Dodge, and Janine Bakken of Webster City, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews. Dan is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Beverly (Pratt) Stoneburner and Velma (Ades) Johnny Long; his sister, Lindsay Peterson; and his father and mother-in-law, Richard and Arlene Christensen. Danny Lee Stoneburner was born December 7, 1953 in Webster City, Iowa and graduated from Dayton High School in 1972. Danny married Denise Hurtt on December 29, 1976 in Fort Dodge. After their marriage the couple made their home in Stratford, Iowa later moving to Dayton were they raised their family. Danny worked as a mechanic for Lundberg Implement in Dayton before he worked for several years at the Jewell Implement Company. Danny drove truck from 1984 until 1989 before he started working at Mel's Alternator & Starter Repair. He work for Mel’s for 17 years. Danny later started working for himself building his oddities and his leatherworks. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
