Description	:	Darrell A. Farrow, 72, Clay Center, died November 20, 1984, at the Clay County Hospital after a lingering illness. He was born at Lamar, Ks. April 23, 1912, the son of Thomas and Emma Stone Farrow. The family moved to Clat Center when he was 5 years old and he grew up here. During WW II he served in the Army Engineers. After returning from the service he was married to Sybil Long, February 13,1947. They lived in Clifton 18 years where he was employed by Northern Natural Gas Company for nearly 30 yrs. They moved back to Clay... Read More	Darrell A. Farrow, 72, Clay Center, died November 20, 1984, at the Clay County Hospital after a lingering illness. He was born at Lamar, Ks. April 23, 1912, the son of Thomas and Emma Stone Farrow. The family moved to Clat Center when he was 5 years old and he grew up here. During WW II he served in the Army Engineers. After returning from the service he was married to Sybil Long, February 13,1947. They lived in Clifton 18 years where he was employed by Northern Natural Gas Company for nearly 30 yrs. They moved back to Clay Center in 1968. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Clay Center Masonic Lodge AF & AM no 134 of which he was a past master, Clat Center OES no. 180 0f which he was a past patron and a member of the Alonzo F. Dexter American Legion Post 101. The survivors are his wife, Sybil Farrow of the home: a brother Otto Farrow and wife Velma: a sister Mrs Ina Brannan and husband Walter, a brother in law, Audley Walker, many neices and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, 5 sisters and 2 brothers. Services were held at the Neill- Schwenson Chapel, Wednesday, November 23, Rev. Tim McFarland officiating. Internment was at Greenwood Cemetery with a Masonic graveside service. Honorary pallbearers were: Ernest Mason, George Young, Lloyd Parry, Wm McIntosh, Floyd Caldwell, and George Gustafson. Casket bearers were Greg Mall, Howard Bowman, Kim Conrad, Wm Patenaude, Dean Crawford, and Clayton Coulson
