Description	:	David Monroe Crumley was born January 4, 1955 to Dwight Golf and Alene Pearl (Huff) Crumley (deceased). David passed away July 09, 2016 after a lengthy illness. Survivors include his son Christopher Michael (Kristen Suzanne) Crumley of Benton Harbor, Michigan, son Cory Monroe Crumley of Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Survivors include his son Christopher Michael (Kristen Suzanne) Crumley of Benton Harbor, Michigan, son Cory Monroe Crumley of Cherry Hill, New Jersey. His Grandchildren Haleigh, Hunter and Carter Crumley; brothers, Paul Michael Crumley of Buchanan, and Patric (Arlene) of Ada, Michigan; sisters Linda (Elmer) Doyle of Galien, Michigan, Jean Marquez (Angelo) of Buchanan Michigan, and Deanne Lee Daniels of Buchanan. Dave was well known throughout the area as a master mason, doing decorative brick, block, stone and flat work that will stand for those to appreciate for ages throughout the local areas. Some of his proudest moments were the birth of his sons, and grandchildren along with the day he became a member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen, Local 04 IN/KY. He was a dedicated and passionate creative master on the jobsite as well as the kitchen. His masonry works span from the University of Notre Dame to the Serbian Orthodox Monastery of New Carlisle, from custom stone fire places and backyard barbeques to glass block pillars and Buchanan Cemetery arches. He had a great passion for grilling and barbequing for all whom stopped by his patio on any given evening, especially for his children, grandchildren and their friends. He became known delivering his home-made breads and pastries he mastered using his mother’s recipes throughout the local area. Funeral services for Dave will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. Visitation will be two hours prior from 11am- 1pm. Burial will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family. Online condolences may be made at www.hovenfunerals.com
