Born in Spring Hill, he was resident of Warren county, having lived most of his life near Spring Hill until the past four years, when ill health no longer permitted him to care for himself. He then made his home with his daughter, Faye, 4100 SW 7th St., Des Moines. He died at Avenue Nursing Home, 1701 Sixth, Des Moines. He will be missed by his family and friends. Funeral services were held in the Methodist church at Spring Hill Sunday afternoon, June 9. Interment was in the Webb cemetery.
