Brockway, Charles Willson, Roy Moore, and Richard Parry. David Nevin was born September 5, 1878, in the vicinity of Melville, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Brody Nevin, one of a family of 11 children. Three brothers and two sisters have passed on. He attended school for a time in Salt Lake City. In 1899 he was married to Marie Antonette Tintinger and they went to Park City, Utah where he worked in the mines. In 1900 they returned to Montana to farm on Otter creek. Selling this place to Glass Bros., they moved to the Sweet Grass to the place which has been their home the past 32 years. He had been a trustee of school district 43 all that time. Survivors are his widow and nine children: Mrs. J. Brent, Billings; Mrs. Martha Lincoln, Osborne, Ida.; David B. Nevin, Chester, Pa.; Mrs. B. F. Smith, Billings; Mrs. H. T. Mack, Oswald B. Nevin, Mrs. Gilbert Smith, Mrs. Parker Jones, Thomas H. Nevin of Big Timber. The sisters and brothers are Mrs. Minnie Kimbel of Osborne, Ida.; Mary Counter, Seattle Wash.; Benjamin Nevin, White Sulphur Springs, Mont.; Thomas and William Nevin, Big Timber.
