Description	:	David Penson Whitecotton, age 59, prominent farmer, poultryman, and cattleman, died at his home on Highway 27 between Dardanelle and Danville, Monday. Mr. Whitecotton was a native of Logan County, Near New Blaine, a son of Billy and Alice Berry Whtecotton. He was a member of the Chickalah Methodist Church. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Lessie Bailey Whitecotton, three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Jewel Jankowski, Mrs. Pauline Myers, and O'Rita Ross, all of Little Rock; one brother Goldie Whitecotton of near Danville, two sisters, Mrs. Good Mosely and Mrs. Travis Carter, of near Danville, a half-brother, Roy Garner of Dardanelle, and a... Funeral services were held at the Chickalah Methodist Church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. O. D. Peters, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Dardanelle, officiating, assisted by Rev. Bernie Stahl of Plainview. Burial was in the Brearley Cemetery. Services were ion care of the Cornwell Funeral Service. www.yellcountyobits.org
