Holroyd, who died suddenly Wednesday. He was 65. Active for many years In civic affairs, Mr. Holroyd was a former member of the Lethbridge Hospital Board and the county of Warner council. He was a member of the hospital board from 1933 until 1959 and was chairman from 1958 to 1959. Always Interested In the work of the Canadian Red Cress he was a member of the provincial organization of the society. He was an active Mason and belonged to the Eastern star, Lions, Elks, and Warner Lodge. Born in Morton, North Dakota, Mr. Holroyd moved to Warner In 1913 and farmed there until 1961. He moved to Lethbridge in 1962 and joined the firm of Masear and Lee. He soon became a partner In the firm which became known as Masear, Lee and Holroyd. He was a member of the First United Church. He Is survived by his wife, the former Eleanor Katherine Moffatt; two sisters, Mrs. J. T. (Ruth) Graham, and Mrs. C. B. (Vera) Lien, both of Warner; one brother, Claude J. of Grande Prairie, an uncle Clyde Holroyd, Lethbridge. Funeral service will be held In the First United Church, Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. D. Weatherburn and Rev. J. D. Elhard officiating. Interment will be In Archmount Memorial Gardens. Martin Bros. Ltd. is in charge of Arrangements. In lieu of flowers friends are asked to donate to the Warner Evangelical United Brethren Church Memorial, or First United Church Memorial Fund, Lethbridge. --------------------
