Read More	Dean Lloyd Loschen, 86, of Franklin died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017, in Lincoln. Memorial services wheld Friday, Dec 22, 2017 at Franklin Congregational Church. Inurnment was at Greenwood Cemetery near Franklin. He was born northeast of Macon on Oct. 31, 1931, to Folka and Maude (Getchell) Loschen. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church west of Macon. He graduated eighth grade from the District 9 school of Macon. He then went to Hildreth High School for three years and helped his dad farm. He married Geraldene Detlefsen on May 17, 1953. He worked in the Ford garage and farmed. He later farmed on his own for 10 years before moving to town where he worked at the lumberyard for 18 years. That was followed by being a plant manager of the cement plant for 10 years until he fell ill and retired. Dean enjoyed gardening, traveling and woodworking. Dean is survived by his three sons and spouses, Lance and Kathy, Lyndon and Barbi, and Lane, all of Lincoln; granddaughters and spouses, Jill and Waylon Hullinger of Lincoln, Jennifer and Tyler Forke of Palmyra and Brianna and Tommy Lantis and Brittney Loschen, all of Lincoln; four great-grandchildren, Briar, Iva, Hannah and Brayden; brother, Donald and wife Shirley of San Diego; and sisters-in-law, Jean Detlefsen and Don Roth, and Lee Loschen, all of Lincoln. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Verne and Roy; and wife of 57 years, Geraldene, who died on Nov. 23, 2011, which was her 80th birthday.
