Description	:	Dee K. Hudson of Sacramento, Calif., 88, passed away March 20, 2012. He was born to Roe and Esther (Mann) Hudson on June 4, 1923, at Diller, Neb. At a young age, he moved with his family to Powell, Neb. He attended elementary school at District 102, ninth and 10th grade at Powell High School, graduating from Alexandria High School in 1940 at 16 years of age. Hudson of Sacramento, Calif., 88, passed away March 20, 2012. He was born to Roe and Esther (Mann) Hudson on June 4, 1923, at Diller, Neb. At a young age, he moved with his family to Powell, Neb. He attended elementary school at District 102, ninth and 10th grade at Powell High School, graduating from Alexandria High School in 1940 at 16 years of age. Soon after, he moved to Los Angeles, Calif., to live with an aunt and uncle. He returned to Nebraska at 19 to marry his high school sweetheart, Maxine Frades, before entering the Army. He received basic training in Texas and Louisiana. He served in both Germany and France as a mechanic and truck driver, driving ammunition to the front lines. After his discharge, he and Maxine moved back to the Beatrice/Fairbury areas, working in the implement business. In 1950, he moved his family to Boulder, Colo. Thereafter, he spent his working career in the car industry in California and Colorado. At retirement, he moved to Twin Falls, and recently had moved to his daughter's in Sacramento, Calif. Cars and driving, piloting, motorcycles and his beloved pets were his passion. He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Ralston (Raymond); sister, Ellen Kuhns (Sonny) of Beatrice, Neb.; first wife, Maxine Hudson; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. Preceded in death by parents, Roe and Esther (Mann) Hudson; brothers, Wade Hudson (wives Helen and Faye); Lynn Hudson; sister, Mary Ann Sharpe (Harley). Private services will be at a later date.
