Description	:	from the Frankfort, Kansas, Index, Thursday, July 10, 1952: "Dellie Grimes Wallace, youngest daughter of Samuel and Catherine Grimes, was born in Indiana on January 6, 1872, and passed away at Vliets, Kansas on May 22, 1952, at the age of 80 years, 4 months, and 16 days. She moved with her parents to Kansas in 1885. On August 17, 1892, she was united in marriage to Charles Wallace. To this union two daughters were born. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace lived on the same farm near Vliets, Kansas from the time of their marriage until the time of his... Wallace, widow of the late Charles Wallace resident of the Vliets Vermillion community most of her life died at her home southeast of Vliets, Kansas on Thursday, May 22, 1952, at the age of 80 years, 4 months and 16 days. Mrs. Wallace was a very devoted wife and mother, a true friend and a kind and helpful neighbor. She was a very talented lady, well educated and spent many years writing poems, especially appropriate for a friend or some particular occasion. Many of her poems were printed in the Index. She had a large circle of friends. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in Vermillion last Saturday."
