Lead Daily Call newspaper, October, 3, 1930 - "Mrs. George Lane Dies After Lengthy Illness. After an illness which has kept her confined to the Homestake hospital for the last 14 months, death claimed Mrs. George Lane, 27 years old, at 3 o'clock this morning. Mrs. Lane, who was born in Englewood, has lived in this vicinity all her life, and in her girlhood days she attended school in Englewood and Trojan. She is survived by her husband and small daughter, Georgeie Evon, her mother, Mrs. A.E. Kinyon, of Lead, five sisters, Mrs. Robert C. Holt, of Long Beach, Cal., Mrs. John Wells, of Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. Bessie Behm and Mrs. Celia Tyler, of Custer, and Mrs. S.W. Ness, of North Dakota. She also leaves a brother, R.D. Kinyon, of Billings, Mont. Funeral arrangements will be announced when word is heard from relatives." Lead Daily Call, October 4, 1930 - "Funeral Rites for Mrs. George Lane Tomorrow. Funeral services for the late Mrs. George Lane, of Lead, whose death came early yesterday morning at the Homestake hospital after a long illness, will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Lead Methodist church. Interment will be made in South Lead cemetery." Lead Daily Call, October 6, 1930 - "Last Services Are Held For Mrs. Lane Yesterday. Funeral services for the late Mrs. George Lane, of Lead, whose death came last week at the Homestake hospital after a long illness, were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Methodist church. A large number of friends of Mrs. Lane and her family were present to pay last respects. The services were conducted by the Rev. George H. Richardson, rector of Christ church. Interment was made in the South Lead cemetery. The active pallbearers were David Matthews, Arvid Mackie, Gerald Long, Orville Dunn, Robert Dunn and James Kay, Jr. The honorary pallbearers were Mrs. James Kay, Mrs. Kyes, Miss Mildred Kyes, Mrs. Gerald Long, Mrs. Helen Laurenti, and Mrs. Emma Laurenti. Ralph Kinyon, Billings, Mont., Mrs. August Behm, of Custer, and Mrs. Charles Tyler, of Osage, Wyo., brother and sisters of Mrs. Lane, were here to attend services."
